A Family Legacy

Mylotts Bakery holds a special place in my heart. My great-grandfather began this journey four generations ago, making Mylotts Bakery a household name in Sydney’s baking world. Located on the corner of Vulcan and Queen St. in Moruya, NSW, it was a country bakery beloved for its fresh pies, bread and cakes. The bakery was the highlight of Christmas every year - the smell of freshly baked goods and the joy of running around filled with sugar and happiness, are memories that shaped my love for baking.

Almost two decades after the original Mylotts Bakery closed, I'm thrilled to reimagine this family legacy and bring it into today’s vibrant Sydney food scene. Mylotts Bakery now embraces a contemporary approach to pâtisserie, offering a variety of cakes, savoury treats and exceptional service. My goal is to make every celebration  easier, tastier and a more delightful experience, where quality ingredients meets the elegance and curiosity of today’s modern culinary world.

After completing my schooling, I embraced every opportunity that came my way, which led to a decade long career that has made me one of Sydney’s most recognised young leaders in the baking and hospitality industry. Inspired by my family’s legacy, I’ve competed in baking competitions across the country, which took me on adventures to the US, Europe and Singapore. These experiences enriched my culinary journey and allowed me to bring those influences back to my work in Sydney.

My career has seen me work in some of Sydney’s most acclaimed dining establishments, including Cirrus with Bentley Group, Loulou Bistro Boulangerie & Traiteur, The Charles Grand Brasserie and Bar with Etymon Projects, and most recently, The Promenade at Bondi Beach with House Made Hospitality. Hosting and entertaining through food has always been my passion, and now, with Mylotts Bakery, I hope to be a part of your celebrations, making them extraordinary with every bite.
